BIOLOGY: We worked on worksheets and labelled a schematic drawing of a plant cell and an animal cell. We compared plant and animal cells.

LAB: Compare animal cell (cheek cell) and plant cell (onion or lettuce)

ASTRONOMY: After a day of notes we took a break and did worksheet 1:3, must be completed by Thursday. We watched a portion of "Space Cowboys".

EVERYONE: quiz friday.

Biology per. 2-Today we did the microscope lab and a class assignment of Check yor understanding pg. 37 # 6,7 & 8. all must be completed by tomorrow.

biology: In the notes we have gotten as far as the vacuoles. Weekly quiz tomorrow, friday, sept. 16th. Continue to work on the packets. Study for the quiz!!!

Astronomy: We have gotten as far as Chapter 1 section 1 & 2 so friday's quiz will be on this material. Study, study, study...

Biology: Continue to work on cell packets. Wednesday lab: Make sure you have the microscope lab completed by thursday if you did not submit it wednesday.

Astronomy: By Thursday, have completed chap 1, sect. 2 of worksheets.

BIOLOGY: students should have all worksheets related to chapter 1 completed. Students should also have completed by wednesday the front and back of the last page of the microscope lab. Please keep lab packet neat as it is to be submitted for a lab grade.

ASTRONOMY: We have just completed Section 1, so all worksheets related to chap. 1, sect. 1 should be completed as well as section review 1:1 # 1-3.
